Music in the Online Age

Future of the Left's previous album leaked. Falco's response... (contains naughty words, ummmmm).

The story considered by The Guardian... (doesn't contain naughty words, but is 'The Grauniad' so possibly riddled with typos (hypocrite and using an unfair 1980s stereotype) and woolly to the point of inaction).

Not only a chance to satiate my fanboy tendancies, but also really relevant and useful to think about for  Section 2 of the A2 exam. Ahhhh, happy.

Video is interesting to consider in terms of collaboration and how the online age will have facilitated the construction thereof.

There are no bolod statements in my paradiddle...

  1. I remember seeing this a while back and I have to say I respect him for just saying what he thinks up front, rather than wussing out and hiding behind publicists and/or lawyers like pretty much everyone else does.

Having said that, sometimes you have to take leaks with a sense of humour like SEGA did a few days back - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJ_-0Cmi5z4

  2. Apologies, am not going to get Rock 3/the comparison done today because I'm not feeling too great now... I know you said to stop apologising but now I've had the few weeks cool off from other subjects and now it's a case of me being a terrible person.

Will be done as soon as possible.

  4. I like this man, he seems great. And his water/day-night analogy is sad but true, some people do feel it their birthright to get free music (now that my free music days are over, I can say that without being hypocritical - woohoo!).

Also, seeing as you haven't posted in a few days, I feel obligated to check that you haven't died and that a tragic incident involving an army of chairs avenging their young being head-butted hasn't occurred.

    1. I've been checking that tracking device we left on him, he's moving around so he probably isn't dead, but still...

SIR, PLEASE CONFIRM YOU ARE OKAY.

But yes, Falco is a great person.

  5. Fun fact: I can't do the summer homework if I don't know what it is :P

  6. Your replacement is too sassy. He backchats me in class. It's like you purposely sought out a new teacher who can handle the banter. I shall have to break his spirit.

Thought you ought to know. Good luck wherever you are now!
